    A nice start here, some high level cloud around, and fair weather cumulus blowing in from the sea, very diffuse. Temp already up to 19.2. Is it really September. DP is 18.2 and the humidity is all the way up at 94%. Gonna be a sticky day by the looks of it.

    Day started off nice and fresh at last, however it is now uncomfortable again already.

    Looking at radar, looks like the rain might be edging this way now. Is the actual cold front where there seems to be a squall of sorts developing just north of London, or the whole band.

    Temp 21, a little windy but nothing major. Humidity at 85, sunny. dp heading up not down curently 17.5. What cold front and what rain.

    I'm not sure it's going to rain here, have had ac cas up high and cumulus down low all day, along with plenty of sun. It's still warm and humid with it. I really wanted the rain today as it was around. But the clouds now seem to be getting more benign looking. The high cloud disappearing and the cumulus more diffuse.

    So far it started sunny, now we have some interesting looking cloud but it is dry. I'd get exited with this cloud tbh if I didn't know it was just rain possible. There are still some sunny spells.

    Wow what a day, started sunny, then was cloudy for a little while. Perhaps the warm front? Then clear blue sky for the rest of the day. Did not expect that at all.

    Sounds lovely, apart from the warm humid nights, they can do one. Don't mind a few of those in the summer, but it's getting ridiculous now lol.

    I've come out of the no storms thread in Jan every year since I moved here. Although my longest storm, started at about midnight and lasted til around mid day in either November or October . In 2014. And the night before I was watching flashes from a storm on the french coast doing the same thing, just hugging the coast.

    Well it's been another cloudless day, not sure if that means the cold front hasn't come over yet? However I think it has as the wind picked up mid afternoon and that made it feel fresher. That's the only difference here though.

    Been a lovely sunny day down here all day, not a cloud in the sky. High of 26.2 so far.

    Well had drizzle all day on Monday, Warm with mostly cloud yesterday, although some breaks did appear at times. Today there is a mist, but I can already see blue through it. Might be a better day for cloud amounts, fingers crossed.

    Have had lot's of proper rain now, but nothing close to needing a met warning yet.

    Well so far this cold front, (if that's what's over us now), has given us is drizzle.

    I've now got lot's of unstable ac cas cloud moving west to east, normally see them moving from the south to north, normally on a NNE axis.

    Well no rain has been through here as yet, not even that light blue bit. Was just cloud here. I'm wondering what that heavy stuff to the west will have left when it get's here.

    Well I've had a few showers, nothing anywhere near stormy though.

    tbh be honest I'm not really sure, I know there was a ground strike near my house once, the only evidence was a melted coke can, which might have been why it struck there. I've heard of melted road surfaces during storms before, but not seen it my self.

    I don't think it even did that here, unless I missed it.

    Although it won't be a hurricane anymore they tend to retain some of the heat that formed them in the first place. Warm, humid air with lot's of heavy ppn is common, there certainly should be showers once the main rain is through, thunder who knows.
