Lovely dry sunny day, started with a light mist this morning.
-
Just had the first heavy shower of the day, didn't realise it was an over night event.
-
Me and my son saw iridescent rainbow cloud earlier today. The weather was still and mostly sunny till about 3:00, then it turned a bit more windy and the convective cloud started turning up. Has not rained here yet though. The iridescent cloud was high up.
-
The view looking east today is stuning, but unfortunately means we are due a soaking once it moves this way. For now it's sunny and still.
-
Had quite a nice day here today, mostly sunny, but with nice convective looking cloud scapes about. I expect there were some heavy showers about not to far away.
-
Having a day of showers here, wish it was a bit later in the year. I expect this won't happen when we want it too.

North Yorkshire moors. The Cambrian mountains, by the lake Ullswater, Wales in general.

I suppose all the dead and displaced in Haiti are part of the conspiracy.
This type of thing makes me so angry, if the hurricane doesn't do as much damage as thought that's a good thing. Mean while if it does at least people who listened are out of harms way. Those that didn't have no one to blame but themselves.

Eye is clear now, think it's restrengthening after leaving Grand Bahama.

Good for spotting snow flakes
Only good thing about it, I can see it keeping everyone up lol. Out of all the light's in my street, they've only changed this one. Guess they are doing them one at a time.
-
They put one of those new street lights up right out side my house, those really bright white LED ones. Makes it look like it's day light out side. Hope the light will still go out at 1am/12 midnight after the time change.

I thought that. I mean it doesn't look to bad there at the moment but even so. Why risk it? On the beach in lauderdale as well. We're ever that is
I hope it doesn't make landfall further south than thought, it's on the east coast south of where landfall is expected.

Miami should escape the worst of it but will still experience trop storm conditions with hurricane force gusts. Imo the biggest danger area is from West Palm Beach northwards.
Thinking about it I'm not even sure where Miami is, sounds like it is west, by this.

Exactly how close to Miami is Matthew going to hit? On the webcams on Miami beach their are loads of people in the sea
Your kidding me, what the hell are they thinking. Surely they should have been heading west a while ago.

Colder again today, high of 12.3, highest gust 40 mph.
-
Another windy day, only got to 14.1 today, but there was more sun than yesterday. highest gust 48mph. Apparent temp only got to 10.7
-
Wow that wind is cold, and strong, been gusting between 35-40 since about Mid day. High of 15.5 today but it felt much colder than that in the wind, even the apparent temperature on the station only got to 13.9
-
Lovely start, keep it up please. Was nice yesterday, however a couple of light convective showers turned up in the afternoon.
-
Have had plenty of showers through, two with thunder, one of those last night, and at about 11ish this morning.
-
-
Wind has started gusting here now, around the mid 30's, highest temp so far today 19.7
-
Lovely day today, already up to 18 and probably still climbing and sunny.

Some of my dislike is when i was in primary school and i can still see that horrible white caravan parked in the school carpark in my mind, is we had a 'school dentist' which was mobile and to cut a long story short took pleasure in filling our teeth for no reason other than money. For me his 'handy work' gave me an infection and I ended up back and forward to my parents dentist and both teeth he had done broke in half and finally fell out. These were MILK teeth as well and totally unnecessary for any treatment. My mouth was never the same after, my gums still play me up today.
That's seriously wrong, was he ever struck off?

Was already most sunny here this morning, 7:30 may be earlier. Had a dry night here I think. Plenty of convective clouds about but no convection as of yet.
