  1. Only had 1 totally dry here, Saturday. Even managed to rain here yesterday morning.
  2. Got a pleasant shock when by chance I spotted this tawny owl just a few feet away from me this morning. I nearly walked passed it
  3. A Face like Thunder Clouds were predicted to develop but this is a stratocumulus bank that has rolled in rather than developed. Also note even today, there are showers coming into eastern parts of England. Met Office has underestimated both.
  4. Even today, it still manages to rain for some parts, showers coming into some parts of the east of England.
  5. Got down to -1.6°C Typical that it would cloud up on what is suppose to be the sunniest of the two weekend days.
  6. Oh come on! You got to be joking, look at the forecast for Sunday. Even the dry spells are wet…..
  7. Seems to be a feature of the week, an arc of precipitation coming through some part of the region.
  8. Just 2 days this year so far where the rainfall total for our region was 0.00mm Last occasion we had 2 consecutive days of recording 0.00mm was 4th and 5th September last year.
  9. July 2023 to currently is now as wet as the whole of 2012 was for the region ...and we still over two months to go to complete a 12 month period.
  10. Showers with hail gone through. It wasn't even dry overnight, had a couple of showers go through.
  11. Interesting day. Hail showers in the early afternoon and clear late afternoon

  13. Met Office forecast A drier day with plenty of sunny spells, though the odd shower still possible. Another breezy day though winds much lighter than on Monday. Feeling fresher than of late. Maximum temperature 12 °C. Its more than an odd shower that's for sure.
  14. Intense hail showers hitting Irlam. I thought it was supposed to be a better day? I know the showers are localized but they are intense when they hit.
