978mb here still dropping 1.4 hr temps 15.7 rising +0.8 hr, gusts of 21 at moment.
-
980.6 -2.8 mb/hr temp 13.7 rising =0.9 hr wind picking up .

Fairly impressive yes but nothing to start worrying the MetO yet I guess, but should it go above -3 mb per hour, that would be rather scary.
I suspect it could breach the threshold but that wouldn't be until its as good as cleared the mainland, i.e. out of our region towards the East and SE.
The wind isn't the only issue tonight, as bad as it is but flooding may well be another problem for commuters to cope with throughout tomorrow.
mines dropping at -2.7mb /hr

I heard he predicted this some time back too. I believe he still thinks it is going to be MASSIVE!
He also said that the met office should move the track a bit to the south which they did , and yes he is warning of it being massive , on par with 87 storm . ferocious rain , hail , thunderfloods and tornados expected. And to predict this 6 weeks ago using his methods needs to be taken notice of in my eyes.
I have a saved download from 6 weeks ago. This storm, position, timing and intensity was forecast by Piers Corbyn 6 weeks ago. He was absolutely spot on
