  1. Homogeneous - a dull word in many ways. Definitely agree that the UK climate has become more bland. It’s like most of the excitement or interest has been drained and we’re left with largely dreary conditions, which were pretty common before but now are the default.

  2.  MP-R Same here. It’s just been a relentless run of cloud, wind and rain. To be expected in every winter to a degree, but that’s basically all we’ve had for months on end. Awful.

    Some stunning weather on the way for central Europe though, 5 days between 20-27°C with sunny spells are forecast. That’ll banish the SAD in no time 😊

  3.  MP-R it’s just not been a cold winter at all. It’s only been ‘wintry’ in the damp/wet/gloomy/windy sense. Even in Central Europe we only had a a week or so of what I’d call cold. Otherwise, it’s been nearly identical to the UK with buckets of rain, cloud and wind. Seems to improving quite dramatically this week though
