Light snow here in Benwell...with a little covering the ground from overnight...better than nothing!!?❄

Posh!!!!!...living in Benwell...ha,ha.Yeah it is lovely out there today.....nice to see the sun....hopefully we get a good summer& it will be Happy days!!!!!

Lol....let's hope so.....a really massive snow event like 2009/2010 will do....got a snowboard which is just gathering dust and desperate kids wanting to use it!!!!

Lol.....I have to say it was lovely while it lasted.....shame you didn't get any of it.

I'm in Benwell and it was absolutely chucking down.....the snow even started to lay a bit....then it stopped,lol.

Absolutely chucking it down with snow....massive big flakes....it's like someone is emptying out a feather duvet in front of my window....lovely!!!!

Lovely heavy,lying snow here in Newcastle....loving it....fire full blast...nice&cosy watching it fall with the kids.

Yeah.....that's where i got that info from,lol.And your right the weather forecasts didn't indicate anything different....was just living in hope ....and by the way i know nothing about charts,models,forecasting etc.....i just love for it to snow....i just nose around&read things and try to pick up things....my Husband laughs he says "Do you think you are Wincy Willis"?

Gutted....absolutely "gutted" no sledging or snowman building for my kids today.What happened to that few hrs of heavy snow we were meant to have according to the Met Office forecast?It's cold,dark and miserable with no "snow"....throwing all my toys out the pram "it's not fair"!!!!!!Only thing is i hope my eldest Son can get home o.k as they need to drive back up here from Stansted airport.
