I'm not taking each run literally. ECM has been consistent lately so when it wobbles it's not a good sign. Only time I will be on board is when it falls from the sky! Onto tomorrow. GFS later now a big run. I knew I shouldn't have got positive earlier but still all too play for though not looking as good now.

Unfortunately ronan the ECM is a shocker! Please font eat your knickers! This really does look far from done. Gfs on board ECM as a shocker. Does this remind anybody if years gone by. It's only one run but that run has shocked me. Was not expecting that at all.

Ha ha pomeroysnow. It has too be said it looks positive but as u say air on the side of caution. Theses battleground situations can be very touch and go.

And the downgrades keep coming I'm afraid. It's the slippery slope now guys. We should all no better. Getting decent snow and cold weather in this country is at times bordering impossible. In truth I honestly fear for this year again. Another month has nearly passed by. Where as usual the USA to go into the freezer!

Avoid the model thread if u can. Not a happy bunch of campers. But it's the same every year as any projected pattern change keeps getting pushed back further and further. It's the nature of the islands we live in. To get sustained cold is very difficult and you need so many factors to come together. Me, I don't look any further than 7 days in advance and even that is pushing the accuracy. What will be will be and if we continue to get PM shots during the course of the winter it's certainly miles better than last year.

Time for this ridiculous snow free ( apart from NW recently) winter to end. Total failure were cold is involved. It's just one endless season in this country. Rain,wind,odd dry period followed by more rain. O I wished I lived in america for seasonal weather.

Yes rocheydub I couldn't agree more. I think I said yest this snow would be hit and miss and mostly in west and north which is what happened. I couldn't understand snow warning for whole off Northern Ireland where I am based. Bit strange. Anyway the west got the majority of the snow today and it's most if ireland snd southeast Northern Ireland to get battered tomorrow. Those in the west and central areas of n, ireland will miss worst wind by quite a bit. Dublin looks rough to be honest.

All we want is one good dump of snow and boston is forecast 3 snowstorms this week!! 2 inches today, up to a foot on weds and up to a foot sat ! just ridiculous! To top it off there is a snow storm in new york now ! oooooo the envy !

Yep snowed very hard for about an hr. Just far to wet to lie. Personally do not think a warning should have been issued though ! Now onto the wind later.

Yep I'm happy. I'm getting my snow fix. Granted it will be over very shortly. Move onto the storm tomorrow and during next week now. Any more snow this year a bonus.
