As I hinted earlier intensity could pick up as the sun gained strength this afternoon which now looks the case. More in the game tonight and tomorow than first appeared. -
Check out the radar precip has increased massively already. Tonight could get very interesting and tomorrow morning!

There we we go Met office app has moved towards BBC app for tomorrow morning. Winds are going to change and pick up shifting the streamers into a better position and further inland. Winds will shift more eastily.

Your luck should change soon the streamers to your south will shift more north tonight and tomorrow by the looks of things. Your more than in the game!

Yes BBC have indicted snow tomorrow morning based on a steamer coming in from that direction. They expecting things to pick up this evening and Winds to increase which will help pull the flow more south west.

Yes would include IOW, the direction of the streamer will be close. Especially when wind direction shifts a little and picks up.

Actually after looking at the wind direction and speed of the wind which will pick up I think there is a chance of something more noticable this evening and tomorrow. Were still in the game yet.

More showers will pep up tonight. Then stronger winds coming in should help shift things along.

Yes, it's clear they also expect showers to make if further west based on the strength of the wind which picks up.

Actually just seen where the BBC are getting it from. They expecting a streamer to make it all the way down into Dorset tomorrow morning. I'm hanging onto that straw the most! Tonight should see more in the way of showers reaching the west. So hold on to those straws as much as you can!

Although were laughing at the BBC app if you read the met office app for tomorrow it does say possible showers along southern coasts. Like I say although the low is to far South it could at the northern extent of the low bring enough cloud cover. Especially if the winds change more eastily south eastily as the low drops which could bring in some moisture in off the sea. "Maybe"

Probably an over reaction but then like I said if sun can help intensify the flow coming off the sea to the east there is more chance of it travelling west. Also worth saying although the low on Tuesday is to far south the southern coastal areas could still see a very small dusting if there is enough cloud cover extending north. Again its 1 more straw to clutch onto. That's 2 to hang onto for now.

Might be worth keeping an eye on the east when the sun gets high from 1 ish. It might help with intensity coming off the sea then making it help travel further west. But that's a big straw clutch.

Unfortunately i dont see anything that convinces me in the output apart from light grains all week for here, there is nothing that that suggests anything other than that. Not even confident the low end of the week will make it that far west. For now I'll be happy to see some grains falling.

The larger piece out east is decaying but it will have small section south of it which keeps slightly more intact which looks to hit IOW later. Still nothing really substantial but should bring the most flakes so far.

Some dandruff now over IOW by the looks of things on radar.

Feel like we're clutching at straws still at the moment. If the intensity can pick up to the east it seems ths steamer is shifting ever so slowly west. IOW or Dorset could get something overnight. I doubt it would be anything extensive but maybe a very light dusting. That's the area to be watching for tonight.

Really surprised at the comments in the south east thread. Thought the radar all day looked good. Take it it's been really light or sleet?

I have 50% chance of snow suddenly appeared the met office app for 2am. Must say the yellow warnings are actually quite impressive. They certainly must be thinking things will pick up. They favour snow over ice on my wording.

Arome has some good streamers coming this way i must say. Hopfully its underplayng it which is normally the case!
