Mix of rain and snaw in the last little burst so trending the right way. Daughter just came downstairs declaring snaw is coming coz her phone says so..

Well it would seem the weather warning has scuppered it for us.. kids are not impressed at all.... Now seriously whats happened to my Snaw.

Well the radar and the app both now say rain/snaw... im not sure i would use either of those words to describe whats falling from the sky.. just told the kids it looks like they will be going to school tomorrow

Model Output Discussion - A cold start to Spring?

Rooms to rent in North East Scotland.. cheap deals next 10 days free breakfast included.. book now.... Models all over the place in the run up to this spell of weather.. will it go south or north, will yhe cold hold? Im guessing we will find out by the end of the day. If the ecm has this correct against all the other models then it will be a major fail for all of them. Fingers crossed for everybody this coming week. -

Got to admit im getting a little bit excited .... the mad house is a fun place to be today.. all the panic about uppers etc and the gfs 06z has -14 uppers incoming for Northern Scotland... im so tempted to go in and ask if thats a bit marginal . Now bring me my snaw...❄❄❄

Im off to Asda in the morning to go panic buy anything um aloud more than 3 of... Rubbish day here today damp cool and just yuk. Even the dog didnt fancy his walk, instead he found his spot infront of the stove.

Well its the end of winter in the mad house... the ssw has gone boobies up and the high pressure just wont go to greenland... the toys are out of the prams and the towels are being readied. I've just taken delivery of a load of firewood so im guessing thats the final nail in the coffin of winter 22/23 A stunning morning here with warm sunshine and blue skies..

Well the mad house is like an xmas pantomime... its gonna snaw.. oh no it isnt.. oh yes it is.. the absolute knicker wetting by some is hilarious to view.. Personally im thinking we are going to get one last bashing from winter between now and end if March, then hopefully onward into spring and summer.

A beautiful day here, took the dog out on a long walk and Mrs Mair Snaw got trigger happy with the camera.. dog loved it and was out for the count not long after coming home.. Went to town to do a food shop and found a trolley with a pound coin already in it.. happy with my extra pound and a free log that was loose from a bag on the floor outside Aldi.. win win today..

Seems to have died down a bit now as i can no longer hear the roaring of the wind around the house.. Its not as cold tonight as it has been the last few nights but the house feels colder somehow

Power is back on... we had just got home from the support food truck.. ( food was absolutely amazing pure filth..) opened the door and a light came on..heating on and the kids are happy that the wifi box is alive again..

Still no power... back to weatherspoons to charge phones etc.. food truck in Insch not bad scran... breakfast bap and unlimited hot drinks in weatherspoons £3.70.. currently on coffee number 4...lol.. Still no updates as to when power will be back on.. A dusting of snaw on the ground but for once in my live i was not happy to see it..

No power no wifi no mobile signal..good enough excuse to pop to Inverurie and a trip to the weatherspoons...

Looks a tad breezy tonight... im surprised we only hava a yellow warning after last winters storms and the mayhem they caused.. Stay safe everybody.

I would find that more than pleasant.. might need to buy more heating oil though

Another stunning day here, more time in the garden clearing and cleaning up.. found a stepping stone path under the lawn so will be cutti g and shaping those next.. Ive not been in the mad house in ages as i cannot seem to find it within this new layout thing thats happened on here.. probably for the best, save me from myself..

2 wonderful sunny warm days on the trot here.. even managed to get out and tidy the garden a little. Cold frosty start and the temperature has dropped quickly after sundown and the frost is back.. The dog had an absolute wonderful time running around and rummaging through the stick and mud.. now the fire is on and somebody is out for the count..

Not a bad first half to the day, a pretty decent haul for my birthday. Weather not to bad.. of to Inverurie for birthday drinks then home to finish off making homemade chilli 🌶 for our dinner...
