Ahh so it was you making all that noise ... The pond is down the avenue of trees (as i call it).. past the phone box there is a small steading set back from the road on the right hand side..(the folk that live there sold the house inluve in to the current owners..) i had a good history lesson off them while on a dog walk the other month..

16c inside the house this morning.. treated the family by turning the thermostat up to 18c and thats where it will stay now for the next 6 months. Stove was serviced, chimney sweep did his thing earlier in the week and wood supplies have been ordered... bring winter on i say..

My phone app showed 29c at 3pm... that cant be right can it?? 2 days left after this and then its pish 15c and raining... much more like it.. Found a new drink to try in my local Homebargains and its good really good...

Out for a walk with the Cherry hogg this morning and this storm out to the east looked like it was heading out way.. lovely walk with some soggy muck for Thomas to play in..

Been a very different week.. even had to fire up the log burner on Saturday as Mrs Mair Snaw was feeling cold...about 30 mins later she was opening the patio doors and complaining too hot... much like @Snowandrocks the dog enjoyed it...

Lovely sunny warm weather the last few weeks... even managed 2 BBQ's at the weekend.. but as always im thinking of the coming winter.. and more importantly a car thats not going to slide off into a ditch at the first sight of a frost. Im looking at an Audi A6 estate quattro on cross climates.. will this be any good in winter conditions?
