Some sunshine here today but also some hefty showers coming thru.. yesterday was foul. And then the BBC stole my sleet signal.. how very dare they.

Oh how I've missed this..

A lovely day here. Managed to get away from the unpacking and out for a meal in inverurie. Cool day with sun and a gentle breeze..

We are home...lovely to be here... so bloody good to be welcomed back by great friends..now all I need is for the Snaw to come in..slightly jaffa cakesed but very happy..

Well guys and girls tomorrow is the day... the big Snaw family are moving back home.. been a very stressful day and I'm sure tomorrow will be too... but it will all be worth it..

Well tomorrow is the big snow's families last day living in Crieff. its been a strange old 18 months. left Scotland to go to live in the far reaches of Cornwall (no disrespect to Cornwall but we hated it, not helped by the house we moved to) then 12 months ago we came back to Scotland, and now our journey is about to come full circle with our move back to the house that was our first ever home in Scotland... Wednesday is going to be one of the most amazingly emotional days for us as a family but we cant wait. the little big snow's have all said they cant wait to get back and just in time for winter and all the snaw that is sure to come our way ( i bloody hope so). so im hoping to have a real cracker jack of a winter with plenty of snaw and plenty of pictures to share with you all... Winter is coming the snaw is coming im sure some TOORPING will be coming. but all i can say is BRING ME MY SNAW!!!

cold frosty start here -3c, sunrise is a thing of beauty here this morning. its car scrape time before the school run.

A stunning frosty morning here.. one of the kids just screamed out "dad its snowed its snowed" had to explain that although its white its only a frost. his reply was " looks like one of them dustings that would close London to me" now i wonder where did he get that from. anyways happy Saturday people hope all is well and have a great one.

all we need now is @Hairy Celt to come out of hiding..

watching the football and thats some rain fall they have down on the south coast.

Sleety shower just gone over here. and that band coming up from the south is moving quickly.

Radar showing up lots of pink blobs this morning.. the hills will be dressed in white today.. might have to take a walk up later.

Mrs Big Snow has drank half the bottle already... im hoping to see some snaw on the hills out back over the weekend.. and then once safely returned to my old new house next week im hoping for a long cold hard winter.

Sunshine and cloud today with the odd very light shower. looks like the hills will see some snaw this weekend. in other news Mrs Big Snow came home from Aldi with Parmaviolet colour changing gin...strangest thing ive ever seen. taste good. oh and only £9.99 for the bottle.

remove that last bit from your post or we will all be snawless the entire winter....

radar has heavy precipitation head west to east by look of it... been a very dull day here in Crieff, this time next week the Big Snow family will be back home in Aberdeenshire.. cant wait to get home and get ready for a long cold snaw filled 6 months. Bring the SNAW!!!

very dark and overcast here this morning. looks like a cool down toward the weekend but im not buying into the express headlines of Arctic blast to bring snaw to Britain's... just how many Britain's live on the summit of the Scottish mountains?

@CatchMyDrift i would be in that field after dark getting supplies for the long winter ahead..lol.

@Ravelin rears look ok for now still decent depth on them and once moved and settled back into old house i will be stocking up the dry store with rice pasta long life milk part baked bread rolls etc and i always have an emergency stash of beers and other stuff as the nearest shop is about 6 miles in Rothienorman and if the weather is that bad i wont bother trying, also have a neighbour with an all signing all dancing 4x4 off road beast that made TBFTE look like a dusting in feb 2018 so if worst comes to worst i will borrow that.
