Heavy snaw is on... And the radar looks absolutely full of it incoming...

I would say its got a hint of moving east in it... your definitely getting clobbered and more than once tonight too...

So ive been tracking this massive blob of really heavy snaw for the last 30 mins and its lined up perfectly and getting bigger as it heads to my house... but im 100% sure it wont hit.. it will indeed split as it exits Huntly and i will get a few flakes.. ive seen it happen often..

To be fair the radar does look full and it all looks very very heavy... i suspect @Scottish-Irish Skier will be posting soon with some reports of Blizzards..

Im still not 100% on this snaw dor tonight.. just cant see it happening as all the precipitation just keeps dying out as it come onto land... i will happily be proven wrong..

The BBC has mr down for 17 hours of snaw showers heavy at times from 6pm... Do i believe it... nope not untill i see it.. School closed for 3rd straight day here too.. -5 c a moment ago and it felt it while i fetched firewood

Well the radar hasn't done what i thought it would do. So im off to my pit for the night.. see you all in the morning.. Night night dont let the bed bugs bite

Very heavy snaw on again here.. there is a gap on the radar but looks to be some extremely showers out to the North West... will they be the ones that prompt an Amber warning later??

It could snaw like this for a week and we might get a dusting, does look like the heavier stuff has gone south of me. Maybe its the showers following later that are meant to give me another 5cm to 10cm...

As @Scottish-Irish Skier has said the lightest of snaw has just starting falling here... The road through the village is all slushy and i can see that turning into a dangerous ice rink as soon as the sun goes down and the temperature drops..

A nice cold dog walk this morning. The radar looks full of snaw and its slowly heading this way. Will there be anything left in it by the time it reaches my house... looks like we will find out in a few hours....

I know everybody in here loves a pic of snaw on a patio table... so here is mine.. this is in a sheltered part of the garden.

The bbc have me down for snaw from 1pm to 8pm from the North West... i cant see that as being correct... Looking at the radar it is moving this way but i feel the hills will take most of it.. @101_North radar showing pink in your general area.. i know you love frontal snaw so maybe this could be your time..

Think it was 11th Feb 2021 Alford recorded -23.3 in the morning.. @Sceptical would know best as he is always the one with the car dashboard pictures when its cold..
