  1. Well, i've been waiting to post one of these all Winter, and here it is. The UK's very first -16 ENS member of the Winter... (Probably won't verify, but Lovely to see)! 12Z ENS Central England Solid agreement there of at least a 5 or 6 day cold spell/snap developing between 29th Jan / 3-4th Feb.
  2. Happy anniversary CS Don't forget to book her a 'table' for valentines day ....(and then pray that she likes snooker)
  3. Nooooooo, I'm allergic to heat, so please please no heat during summer...
  4. Lol!! Simple fact is... nobody will have me. I'm really really hard work to be with. (and that's coming from the horse's mouth)! Anyway, we better start talking about the weather now as we're straying 'slightly' off-topic
  5. February is going to be special... You heard it first here!
  6. I'm hoping for a Cold March, and a cool/settled April and May. NO HEAT, TA VERY MUCH!
  7. Ha. I'm not, but the CFS clearly is. Maybe that's the model James uses for his forecasts? Lol. Although having said that, the CFS has been continuously throwing out mild muck the last few weeks, so i doubt he's been using that. He's most probably got his very own super cold computer model that none of us get to see to base all his Winter forecasts on. It was just a pleasant surprise when i viewed the CFS earlier so that's why i posted it's latest run. Purely just for fun of course
  8. I really really feel like having a right good old moan about this Winter! ....But i will hold back for another 2 or 3 weeks. Let's just hope the swear filter is working when i do decide to have a rant!!
  9. Anyone who wants to see what a REAL UK freeze looks like then i suggest taking a look at the latest CFS run. A deep UK freeze starting Mid february, and apart from 4 or 5 days in the 3rd week or March, the freeze continues until Early April. http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/cfse_cartes.php?ech=540&code=0&carte=0&mode=0&run=4 http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/cfse_cartes.php?ech=540&code=0&carte=0&mode=2&run=4
  10. Same here. In fact, the drizzle is starting to drift....
  11. The love for snow 'obviously' runs in the family then... Anyway, best get back to the models. Strongish signal at the moment for Cool/Cold Zonality as we head towards February!? Let's hope somewhere somehow some HLB can show it's hand before Winter's end. Us coldies sure have been patient enough for it.
  12. Hear Hear!! By the way, i reckon Fergie secretly loves a good dumping of snow, but he just can't admit it on public websites... Don't worry though, your secret is safe with us Fergie!!
  13. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news as everyone clearly knows i am one who ramps cold weather up 'if' it is showing in the charts, but there wasn't much uncertainty in the updated AO forecast today. Most members were clearly in Positive territory towards the end. Maybe you were going by yesterday's update which saw a lot of scatter? Anyway, as a true die hard coldie it has been quite a poor day of model watching today. I really hope things change for the better tomorrow.
  14. We're in the year 2015 and despite millions and millions and millions being spent, the models are still cr*p at predicting anything past Days 4 - 5! Back to counting seagulls and hanging up seaweed i go...
  15. Ah, Thanks for that CK And yes, i fully agree, we are very lucky we have him. Who'd be a forecaster at times like this hey!?
  16. Don't bother looking at the GEFS for any answers at Days 5 - 6, it's pure pandemonium. Will the upcoming ECM give us any clear cut answers? I wouldn't bet on it! Maybe Fergie can shed some light later on what Exeter's thought's are going forward. What a mess!
  17. GFS Day 5... UKMO Day 5... GEM Day 5... What a mess it all is!! If none of the Models know what's going to happen in 5 Days time, How the hell are 'we' supposed to know? Now, where did i put that seaweed!?
  18. Well, let's hope tonight's JMA catches your eye... Not much sign of a fast exit of colder phase there.
  19. Don't know how reliable it is, but the first of the 12z's are out (GME) and it's a great start to the afternoon
  20. ECM 12Z ENS for London look very cold. Op was a mild outlier Days 6 + 7. Interesting...
  21. After a couple or so of Winters in hiding, he finally awakens... EDIT: Beaten to it by 50,000 other members!
