  1. I really can't recall hardly anyone (pro's or amateur's) forecasting this winter to turn out the way it has. And that's why in my opinion long range/seasonal weather forecasts are, and will always be, a complete mugs game. What a complete wash-out! And without sounding like i'm wishing my life away.... Roll on winter 2014/15! ...It's gonna be brutal! Apparently. lol

      They were going for one of the coldest winters on record for North America here....luckily it passed just to the east of us here and we've had a great warm winter to date

      Gaz is right, the Chinese model was the only one picking up on the above average rainfall. I agree with LRF, all of them are about as much use a chocolate fireguard, even GP got it wrong on a occasions. Still the effort put in by some is tremendous and I always enjoy reading them.
