We've just had a slow moving torrential downpour, haven't seen rain that heavy for a while
Is too Ross. Thundery rain without the thunder.

Far nicer than predicted. Lovely warm sunshine and 23c. Not too shabby!
Better than the cloudy day I thought it would be.
A bit humid feeling though

Hot, Hot, Hot
Temperature sitting at 27c here, will we nudge 30c??
Not sure… going to be an uncomfortable night coming up though with temps sitting around 20c at midnight.
Slight change tomorrow?
Was looking like our hottest day but predicted temps here seem to have dropped a degree or two….. not going to be as sunny that’s for sure.
Enjoy your day, wherever you are.

Reached around 23c here. Sun never really got going, however there was a definite shift to a more clammy feel later in the afternoon.
Expecting a clammy night.
Tomorrow should be a cracker with wall to wall sunshine in the afternoon. Let’s see where that takes us on Tuesday. Will we see any form of thundery breakdown? How quickly will those peak Tuesday temperatures fall?
Going to be an interesting day for sure.

What happened to the expected very active hurricane season. Is this likely to affect our August weather perhaps?

Hello Yellows and Oranges - where have you been?
Ive not been overly positive going into the past couple of summers, this year it’s different though
Still a long way off but a chance towards the middle of next week that we may see the briefest glimpses of spring. 15-19C would feel pretty pleasant after months of wind and single digit temps. Still the potential for a rapid cool down the following weekend though which will also need keeping an eye on.
Hi Alderc
If you don’t mind me asking, what makes you more positive for this Summers prospects?
