Hi all when will this grim weather stop. Had a nice couple of days on the slopes in morzine but the forcast is for rain here on Saturday. I swear the rain is following us like the plague for us Brits. Bet it would rain on us even if we moved to the Sahara desert- 1,255 replies

Well a beautiful day here in Morzine with clear skies an no cloud at all. The slopes are in good condition as well but the one down to morzine is a bit bare and slushy near the bottom as the sun has been shining on it for most of the day

Jp can the snow possibly be delayed until the afternoon of the 2nd of feb as my flight leaves in the morning lol -
Lol wouldn't it be typical if I don't get to go skiing in morzine because snow stops flights from taking off. Would be just typical. Be leaving on 2nd of feb

I work out doors with conservation of uk wildlife. The damage that grey squirrals do to our native wildlife is shocking. They steal the chicks from nests of finches and tits and other species that are in decline. They also compete for food with our native wildlife as well as causing damage to our native trees. I think they do look cute but they are one of the reasons for the decline of our songbirds in the UK. I also believe if it is our fault of them getting into the uk then we should do our best of fixing the problem and getting rid of them. I know you may not agree with this but I see the damage they do to our native fauna and flora.
