  1. I bought this one for £54.99 from amazon, it does Dew point (though it isn't displayed you just need to press the temperature button to display the Dew Point). I bought it as a little second station for another room to my Davis, I have to say it reads pretty closely to the readings from my Davis Vantage Vue, and it also allows you to calibrate the temp and humidity too if the sensor location isn't ideal https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07D584MRP?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title For the price, an impressive little station! Just note, for the display to stay on you need it plugged in.
  2. The slight adjustment north puts me in the firing line just about, fingers crossed as only seen a 30 second sprinkling so far. You are definitely in the warning area, fingers crossed!
  3. Pretty sure there will be an ice day here, pretty impressive given we've had no snow. Temperature peaked an hour ago at -0.7°C, breeze has picked up slightly and it is now back down to -1.1°C.
  4. Must be on the wrong side of Taunton here. Never got above a few light flakes, despite the radar depicting heavy precipitation. In fact, it was sleety more than anything. Still, unexpected! So pretty! Jealous! We didn't get that on the southern periphery of Taunton
  5. After a cloudy start we've had more sunshine since about 1pm. Temperature peaked at 34.0°C about half hour ago, now hovering at 33.7°C.
  6. Very slowly climbing, 28.4°C here now, but it is still cloudy. The cloud is thinning a little though.
  7. 27.2°C here and falling after it got to 29.0C earlier. Line of showers to the south making it cloudy here.
  8. Cloudy here, showers bubbling up to the south. Same thing happened yesterday evening. Somewhat unexpected!
  9. Can confirm we have had some torriential rain in the last 30 mins, no lightning or thunder though. Currently 12.8°C, so a dramatic drop from yesterday's 31.8°C max!
  10. That was one of the roughest squall lines I have witnessed here in a good while. Was literally over in minutes, but the wind was fierce (peak gust 65mph) and rain was mental. Wind has backed west now and seems somewhat stronger than before the rainband.
  11. With you on that one! Last one here was 1st Feb 2019! I don't have a good feeling about the rest of the Winter but would love to be proved wrong! Here's hoping the ECM post 120h doesn't verify! I would even just accept some frosts down here FGS!
  12. 34.5mm of rain in the last 12 hours, boy, this has been a wet month! Still raining heavily now with a gusty wind which had caused quite a lot of debris on the roads driving back from Langport this evening.
  13. Had 43.4mm of rain so far today (including last nights squally rain), some very bright echoes set up camp over my locale for some good time over the last few hours, and we are now getting some very lively winds and torrential rain on the back edge of the convective mass, looks like it will finally be clear in 30 mins or so. We have now had 60mm of rain in 2 days, I'd call that a nice soaking!
  14. A grey, breezy, warm day. Now turning pretty wet from the southwest. Current Conditions at 6pm Temperature 17.2°C Humidity 94% Pressure: 1008.4mb, falling Wind : 15mph, gusting to 28mph, from the southwest Rainfall so far today 2.2mm, and rising
  15. We are literally about 10 miles too far north here. After this morning's rain cleared it has been a dry day. Rather cloudy now but places like Chard to the south must have has some very high rainfall totals with storm after storm.
  16. It actually ended up near 60mm! My station (Davis Vantage Vue) recorded 38.2mm today on top of the 19.6mm last night!
  17. After a very temporary easing this morning it is pouring down again as the front pivots right over my location. I'm not home to see what my station says but we must be approaching 50mm now over the last 24hrs. And no warning! Mind you, channel lows are notoriously hard to predict.
  18. Got some very squally winds through just then with torrential rain, weather station recorded a gust of 60mph and it isn't exactly elevated as much as it should be to get a spot on reading so maybe the gust was a little higher than that!
