  1. Cheers Paul, but in all honesty mate I have family and financial responsibility...... so could really do without 15 FT snow drifts Good luck....... the emotions in that room are up and down like the North Sea FPS
  2. LOL...... Me too mate, should be pretty wild in the next couple of hours. Lets hope we get some flashes and bangs, with the odd tube thrown in for good measure!! WWHhhhhhoooossssshhhhhhhh Mammatus (Gavin) FPS
  3. Moderate sleet for the past hour. Certainly less cold tonight, with temperature's hovering a couple of degrees above freezing........ although I expect the temperature to drop away after midnight to freezing point again. All eyes on the radar for tomorrow morning 04:00 - 09:00. Gusty winds in the coming few hours too....... 50 mph likely inland imho, with 60 mph in your normal prone exposed locations. Over n out for now from SW Suffolk. FPS
  4. Widespread night time air frosts across the bulk of mainland Spain next week. Ground frosts enveloping North Africa too, with the increasing risk of an air frost! FPS
  5. I'll be staying awake for this event. The thought of seeing sleet sends shivers down my spine..... FPS
  6. 61 MPH Gust recorded at Headcorn Aerodrome in mid-Kent at 01:00. Not even on the southern flank yet which is concerning! You get that feeling about this one..............! 80 MPH gusts inland East Anglia tomorrow morning............. 90 MPH coastal anyone??? Cause that's where I think this is heading! Those in NE Norfolk really do need to batten down the hatches...... violent gusts here in a few hours!!! FPS
  7. Posting from Suffolk...... My thoughts are with all the people living in low lying areas in the SW and Wales tonight. This event will go down in history....... it's extreme. FPS
  8. Nasty little low this is...... Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk in for some ferocious winds around Dawn. Downed trees and some structural damage likely. Batten down the hatches!! FPS
  9. Now this storm is heading into the Bay Of Biscay, we need it to bomb!! 60 - 70 MPH just isn't severe enough for me. Lets hope this storm cranks up another gear or three........ just for me! FPS
  10. Yes I started wearing my scarf and gloves in October............. nothing else, just these. lol FPS
  11. After a very wet day with lots of local flooding the day finishes on a drizzly, misty and dank note. Looking forward to some sunshine tomorrow and a frost tomorrow night. Goodnight all. FPS
