You have to love the irony we all wanted colder temps and better uppers but they are coming from a bone dry source we would have been better with nw w air flow producing troughs and cheshire gap action marginal but interesting they were.

Temps or uppers wont be a problem. But ppn might be maybe light snow wed. Some nice frosts to look forward to if its not cloudy.

Looking at the radar there's not alot going on maybe a light dusting for someone but its extremely hit and miss nite people and good luck.

Not liking the pub run typical when we look like getting real cold uppers there's no ppn. But i still belive things will pop up.

Yh it is a touch milder than forecast its good and bad good that extra warmth will create more moisture and bad that could be marginal but i belive when the band comes down it will bring the cold with it and its another late nite scenario again lol

Well spotted just shows how things change quick and this if it hits shouldn't be marginal at all, met have now 5 hours of snow here from mignight

Met have put warnings for the whole of the midlands what can they see, and last night was the heaviest snowfall I have seen since 2010 we have to be thank full those to the se and sw have seen nothing on the whole, and the real cold air is digging in you can see that already Mon, Tues, wed forecasts are changing all the time so I for one am loving this winter so far and we still have Feb and march to go

These snow nights are messing up my sleep pattern. Last nite was a real bonus snow event and we were very lucky as this was not forecast at all and yh its slowly thawing now but plenty more chances next week the real cold air digs down later. Tues looks gd so does wed. And we have seen nothing is predictable. Still lots of snow cover, but light sleety rain fallin
