The western edge of the ppn now seems to be pivoting and heading in a more SW direction.

Looks like the band of PPN is becoming better organised and pretty much all heading our way!!

So I take it that these fronts are meant to retreat south wards at some stage this evening giving a good dumping to the whole Midlands and it lasting thru till sunday?? Does seem to be a lot of pessimism in here..it's not even dark yet so let's wait and see what happens after dark and the cold really kicks in..come on people lets all think positive!!! It's march!!

I want to know where that heavy band to the North West of London is Heading
It looks as if the ppn is spreading up the M40 and across the M4 corridor and making a pincer movement on the Mids!!

Definitely looking as if the ppn to the NW of London is intensifying and heading towards the Mids as the whole band pivots.Come on people it's not over yet and not for a good while!!

Is the band still moving north
I think the band will eventually push south wards and fizzle out as it does..but that might be until late tomorrow evening.

looking at the chart that SNOWMAN just posted I would say Mids are in a favourable place.

Looks like the block is trying to hold firm at + 168 ( fi anyhow).still thinking it will be harder to shift once cold is entrenched.

Surely if the NAE is to believed then this whole system as it pivots should intensify( which it currently is looking at the current radar) and should be producing snow albeit lighter tomorrow pretty much all day. Fingers crossed any how's.

It is moving west..if not already there should be hitting Leicester pretty soon..then Northampton within the hour..it really needs to keep is intensity tho.
