    Well this is the best spell of Snow since Dec 2010 for me, Started again now here at a fairly heavy rate, looks like this second band is heading west to east over the NW, Depths here around 10cm - expecting / hoping for another 5cm here between now and morning, would post a pic if I new how??

    That second band catching up now with the band that has just cleared the east of the region - trying to work out if its going to turn west to east running from Lancaster down to Stafford or thereabouts - Looks to be some heavy ppn there if it can make it !! Very light almost snowdust here now as my daughter would call it

    Good Evening here in Macclesfield it is bucketing down and has been for the last 20 mins, Nicely topped up what was around 5/6 cm to around 8cm Temp of 0c seems to have dropped of now the heavier stuff - fine light snow falling, looking at the radar the system looks like its pivoting sse so those further south in the region should see some of the white stuff soon!!

    Light Snow here for the last 20 mins, stopped now, *very* slight dusting, Looking at the radar it looks like the North sea is doing a decent job of feeding in some tasty looking showers, also looks like the wind is now from a NNWly direction rather than just westerly.

    Here's hoping that us in Macclesfield see some of these showers, we have missed much of what has come through this afternoon, looking good from the radar Temp here is currently 0c with a DP of -3 & everywhere iced up!

    Typical!! Big f**ing hole around Macclesfied!!! Cant get my head around it! It is coming down fairly heavy but raintoday showing a hole!! Lol!! off to the fridge for another beer!!

    We have around 4/5cm in Macclesfield at the moment, Really hoping for the fillet steak to be served overnight and to awake to a lovely winter(spring ahem!!) wonderland!!! Snowing lightly but wind is still strong and gusty! Has the front stalled and sinking back south??? Raintoday seems to have been on the pop!!!!

    Hoping that Macclesfield gets a nice dumping! I think based on the warnings & our location we should do quite well out of it!

    The GFS 18z PPN chart shows fairly heavy snow from 15.00 on sunday but would be better for a westward shift - looking decent from what I can see!

    Lightly snowing in Macclesfield at the moment, Around 6 / 7cm level snow so not too bad!!! Nothing like 1st Dec 2010 though but good enough for our first half decent dumping. I am hopeful of some top-up over the weekend!

    Around 2cm in Macclesfield at the moment, still snowing & currently -1 - I am hoping for around 10cm by tommorow evening!!
