  5. I'm getting married on 28th December, so I'm keeping my eye on the forecasts.... Be nice to have a few inches of lying snow with clear blue skies.......
  6. Don't they turn the wind turbines off when it's too windy?? I read somewhere that they burn up - literally....
  7. Probably would've turned the heating on, but our boiler was condemed last Monday so am waiting for the new one to be installed......thankfully we have a log burner to keep the 'chill' off.....
  8. Let's hope so...!!! Getting bored of this mild stuff - I think we've had 1 frost so far this side of 'summer' - not good, but let's see what mother nature has to throw at us when winter does actually get here......
