  1. I'd be quite happy to be abandoned in North West Highlands right now. Fire blazing in a bothy with 49cm outside... the dream!
  2. If you're going to have a disagree option then perhaps make it a requirement for the person disagreeing to explain why he/she does. Otherwise it's just a tool for people to abuse.
  3. Should be clear down here in Brighton (heading to the downs) tonight so got the camera on charge and bike ready. First astronomy session of the year for me...
  4. Late to the party but they're definitely nice additions to have. Thanks.
  5. A dusting on Ben Macdui and Braeriach already it seems.
  6. What a great thunderstorm last night. Brighton was the sweet spot for sure. Rain really intensified directly overhead with lightning and rumbles of thunder every 2-5 seconds. I was mad enough to cycle down to Brighton Band Stand for 21:30 and watched it roll in until just after midnight. Here's some footage...

  8. Out of interest... what were the latest updates to the radar and when were they made? I haven't had a subscription since my last comment here.
  9. I understand that having worked in small teams throughout my life. I do wonder how TWO manage it though and as far as I know thats just one bloke. But, given the timeframe we are talking about here I think it is fair to say that your users have a right to be a bit annoyed re lack of updates, but mainly promise after promise of "coming soon" etc and your communication. If you're not 100% sure you can stick to a release date then don't say so. Net Weather Extra is fast becoming poor value as most of the data is now freely available. I'd say the only thing worth subscribing for is the radar, maybe a few charts but honestly most of that can be found elsewhere. I don't mind spending money for the way charts and the viewer is designed if a team is going to put effort in and release things when they say or provide a reason for delays but 2 and a half years of promises and then silence is a bit of a red flag for me. At the very least give us a preview every month or two... I hope things change as I'd love to renew my subscription!
  10. To expand on my earlier comment... heating doesn't go on until mid to late October, maybe early November if I can cope with just a jumper and the fire (especially now prices are increasing!).
  11. My comment... on the other thread also applies here.... x
  12. "A bit behind schedule" yea a year or two is a long time to wait considering we are paying.
  13. Collection of NLC pictures: https://twitter.com/i/events/1401170437141413895
  14. Despite the Thunderstorm warning and then the modified rain warning nothing here in Brighton all day Barely a Kent Clipper. You have to laugh!
  15. Oh. That's sad news but saves me from repeatedly refreshing every half hour. Hope you get it sorted tomorrow!
