  1. Was supposed to be sunny here but instead it's overcast...
  2. Really hope this is the last week of this relentless gloom, days like today just suck.
  3. A really dull and wet start to the month here (continuing from what has already been a duller-than-average February and March).
  4. Bit of a rubbish Easter weather-wise, very dull (pretty much overcast all day) and only a top temperature of 11C. Despite tomorrow being showery, it should be sunnier, which is arguably better than a full day of miserable skies.
  5. With the exception of the odd sunny day here and there, this has been another dire month overall. Recorded 90mm rain here (so far), making it even wetter than last March, and this is following on from the wettest February of all time. No sign of much improvement for the foreseeable future either.
  6. I remember Atlantic 252 Actually tomorrow afternoon doesn't look too bad after the morning rain passes, still showery but at least not relentlessly overcast.
  7. Only 28 hours of sunshine recorded so far this month here. None today. Truly abysmal.
  8. Atrocious day yesterday, and such limited sunshine in the forecast. Nothing much to be enthusiastic about really (as has been the case for much of this winter), other than the increasing daylight.
  9. Honestly wish it would just stop raining now, we've already had 155mm of rain last month, which is almost four times the average for February.
  10. Last year only 8mm of rain fell throughout the whole month, this year almost 150mm has fallen! This may be the wettest February on record here, and also one of the mildest.
  11. Turning out to be a very wet month indeed, already almost twice the February average rainfall has fallen here, and we're barely halfway through the month!
  12. chris pawsey Sorry to say this, but it's cold rain for you, maybe sleet in the early hours of the morning.
  13. Based on what I've seen in the MOD thread, it's well and truly time for this pathetic excuse of a winter to do one. For those getting snow tomorrow, make the most of it!
  14. chris pawsey If anywhere in the Midlands is going to get snow, its definitely not Warwickshire I guarantee you that!
  15. Model outputs still offering hope for those in the north despite the removal of the warning, otherwise I wouldn't waste my energy on this.
  16. Snow warning for the whole of the Midlands, but let's be real, it'll just be cold rain for the vast majority. I wouldn't be surprised if the warning area is significantly reduced by tomorrow.
  17. Maximum gust here 25mph so far... way below what is forecasted (so far)
  18. Maximum gust of 45mph here, so nothing noteworthy really. It's becoming clear that I live in such an uneventful part of the country weather-wise, perhaps one of the most boring places to be when it comes to extreme weather.
  19. Probably as they should be more certain by tomorrow.
  20. Most models forecasting wind gusts in the region of 55mph to 65mph widely across the region on Sunday night, which is rather unusual.
  21. Seems that Stoke is the only place getting something out of this cold spell, meanwhile here it's cold and cloudy. Not impressed.
  22. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Warwickshire is the worst place to be for snow (at least in the Midlands). Not even a frost this morning.
