    Most snow of the winter here no melt -2.1c blowing about but everything covered by at least 1 inch or so white out at the moment got plenty of logs for the wood burner and plenty of scotch lol

    About 3 inches up here on Emley moor but some drifts of about 18inches wind has increased and snowing moderately-6.5c

    Just out of hospital so missed a lot I have HCL so was rather hoping for an epic snow event as I don't know how many winters I have left lol but the models are all over the place I think 72hrs is about as far as we can reliably look forward ....at least I have 62/63 in the bag!

    Down to -1.1c overnight a cold bright start ,would have had to scrape the ice this morning,if I had not stayed in bed to watch match of the day 3.9c here now with a breeze picking up

    62/63 started me off I was 8living on my parents farm in deepest Sussex ,3 months off school .Since then I have traveled far and wide in pursuit off the extreme , know I have grandchildren I use them as an excuse to go to Lapland to see Santa !
