  1. Ah...cheers John. Thought I'd missed a 2008 type event. I'll have a dekko at that.
  2. That was a late night (blinking earthquakes phhhhhh) Really? Where? I never felt a thing. Sun is out now but sky still hazy/milky looking.
  3. Mornin each. Twas a bit nippy and very overcast earlier, but hazy sun !now peeping through. It's currently 10c but feels like 7c atm. I have an aching tooth...a crown, so feeling very grrrrrrr!! Right....off to get me gas mask. Have a good day everyone.
  4. Nice forecast, JP. Hope we do get some thunder action. It's been a lovely day here and as the sun went down, the sky looked like mother-of-pearl. Stunning. Hope we get many more days like today.
  5. Some big clouds building up to the West here. But it is very warm albeit a tad hazy atm. Just found an interesting item in the garden. A heavy, pottery egg with a map of the world on it. Probably worf a fortune.... Or....its a treasure map. :O
  6. Hmmmmm! Makes interesting reading over a plate of my home grown and naturally cooked, nitrogen rich spaghetti.
  7. We didn't really have a storm....I wish. I would've been reporting it at the time if we had. My attempt at April Fool. Hope you all have a lovely day. Now off to pick me ready-cooked spaghetti. Lol.
  8. Mornin each. Sunny and warm here in Ippy. Had a MAHOOSIVE storm here early this morning......window rattling it was.... My spaghetti tree was struck by lightning and is no more.
  9. I second that. Come to Goosey, storms. I think we're due for a June 28th 2012 event in our region.
  10. Blimus!! This is enough to put anyone off flying. Even storm lovers like me...:O http://metro.co.uk/2014/03/31/dramatic-images-show-the-moment-a-huge-lightning-bolt-strikes-passenger-jet-4684120/
  11. Ah....right. I'd prefer there to be some T&L mixed in though. :)Aaaand here it is.
  12. Very dull here now and very still. I haven't seen any Saharan dust here yet....but the bloomin' Sahara can keep it. Sauce....sending their dust over here.

    Decaying Anvil

Stunning image of anvil cloud. Love it.
  14. Mornin each. Dull in Ippy but quite mild. There is that smell in the air which, in my opinion betokens a thundery shower later. Or is that wishful thinking. Hope you all have an excellent day.
  15. I have great hopes for lots of thundery action in the coming months; and I think we may get it because the sea temps' didn't get as low as normal last winter. Therefore...the storms won't die crossing the channel. Or at least having a better chance hitting our shores whilst still active and we get lots of luvverly storms:D
  16. Mornin each. Lovely sunny and warm morning here in Ippy. Bit hazy atm but reckon that'll clear later. Nipper presented her mum with a lovely bunch of tulips this morning. Goodness knows how she managed to get out to the shop for them. Marvellous achievement for a two year old. Have a good un, all.
  17. Thanks, Ali..I had a lovely day. And I shall call the boat The Ali MK in honour of you.
  18. Here is my birthday present. Guess which one is mine....... Hope you all had a nice day in the sunshine. We had a lovely lunch at The Brewery Tap near the river. I can heartily recommend the Chish and Fips there.
  19. Very warm and sunny in Ipswich. Temp'16c Pressure: 101.39 kPa ↓ Dew Point: 3° Visibility: 23 km Hope this weather continues for a while.
  20. Mornin each. Nice morning here...a bit hazy but quite mild. Hope all those who have fought long and hard for equal marriage have a fabulous day. Hang out those Rainbow Flags. I shall be away for a while now. ..so have a good week end everyone.
  21. Really? Who? Do tell. You can whisper it. I wont tell...honest. Anyway...its dark outside and a bit nippy.
  22. Thanks,Steve. And Bluebells smell heavenly as well. In the garden of my childhood, we had a massive blackberry bush and beneath it grew loads of bluebells. My mum must have had dozens of bunches of them thrust at her every summer. They were cherished gifts though and she loved every jam jar full.
  23. Hope we get some thunder and lightning tomorrow. Big day is March 29th. Today was quite sobering though. My niece's divorce became final. You always think it will be ok...but there is an element of sadness as well. Enough of this Melancholy. Hope you all have a good weekend.
