  2. Looking forward to my holiday in St Ives on monday,i haven't been down there since the end of september 2007 when we had a week of mid 20's lovely,i hope the weather will play ball this time but it's looking ok

    my duaghter has broken her ankle though last week so getting/walking about may be tampered somewhat.

      I never notice the growing daylight until at least the 15th of january, even then it seem only 5 more minute of light, and dull days there seems no gain at all from the shortest day,  come feb its getting really noticeable though, march onwards is my favorite part of the year, all the best months lie ahead  IMO

    got up at 5 this morning for work but felt like crap all shift,i was shivering and sweating at the same time,not good,do i go in in the morning:unsure2:

      i want to be on the mend for sunday's snow event(if it happens)so that i can get up to the peak district to take some nice pics,if i am still in this state,then it's a no go:(

      I had a stinker of a cold last week which completely drained me of energy and it was probably brought on by heading out to the pub. Then to top it all off I got conjunctivitis in both eyes that took a few days to clear.

Off to cumbria in the morning until sunday,didn't go a couple of weeks ago because my injury to my foot was still giving me grief,we are going for a different location than wasdale head this time so we see some different scenery,as forecast at the moment,snow is still  on for sat when we go up scafell pike from seathwaite

I have cancelled/postponed my week off work for Cumbria due the 6th of feb because of my injury to my foot,i have now booked the 20th onwards and i am glad i did cos the weather aint to good up there for snow at the moment,altough there is a bit forecast for the week ahead up there,but hopefully better conditions as we move through mid feb onwards.

  25. Been off work today as my dog accidently bit my foot on Saturday and i have two puncture wounds,one at top and one at bottom,been to hospital and had tetanus and a x-ray,on anti-biotics now

    it happened when my daughter threw a pull pull rope to me and mistaken it for my bloody foot:wallbash:
