Hi,I'm going to Berlin on Sunday (2nd of August) and theres been reports of temperatures possibly into the mid to high 30oC's Is it likely? We will be back on Wednesday night but its looking HOT HOT HOT

Not sure if you can upload videos but trying anyway, spectacular light show today! Continuous flashes from every direction for a good hour! Intense rain too! Right from around 10pm till around 1am, never seen auch intense rain for such a long period of time

Anyone noticed how the BBC forecast have been showing pollen levels and more importantly UV levels a lot more recently, is it typical of them to show forecast UV levels in the summer months? I dont remember them doing it before and they didnt seem to till the recent heatwave and now they always include it, if not on the UK forecast then the regional

Hit 34.5, maybe 34.6oC by now but has started to cool in the last 10 minutes New July record! Wow!

33.7oC here in Sunny St.Albans just north of London! Dipped below 31oC for a while after hitting a high of 31.2oC before the cloud but flew back up afterwards, I can EASILY see the UK July record being broken today! 36.5... well it's jit 36oC in Heathrow already!

Back up to 31.3oC wonder if I will get to 32oC with this THICK cloud

So is that it now? Cloud cover ruined the hottest day Got to 31.2oC here in St.Albans, just 5 mins ago, cloud has now just come over and already dropped to 30.8oC

This sunny and very warm spell is very nice! I'm only 17 and so the last time I can remember a spell like this was 7 years ago and, of course, I was only 10 and so I can only remember very little from it! Looks like it's here to stay as well! Going to be a VERY hot one here today! The highest I've recorded so far is 28.6oC on the 7th and that will be smashed today, possibly 31oC here if the predicted low cloud and developing thunderstorms stay just to the north and east of us! Will update later on in the day!
