Yes it looks like anything coming through Preston should hit Manchester. Big shower imminent.

Looks to me like this is still pivoting over us and won't be going anywhere quickly. I can also see a few heavier pieces of ppn pepping up over the north east that we may be able to drag into the equation.

I look like I am in a sweet spot here, it looks like the snow band will arrive and then sink south keeping me in the ppn for a good 6/7 hours. Fingers crossed.

I see in the mod thread that we have a good chance of a northerly/ north westerly. Am I right in thinking we usually do quite well in this kind of setup.
