  5. What about the North West of England?
  6. Hopefully as the Summer progresses we'll see more in the way of convective activity. I'm remaining hopeful.
  7. As for the Regional threads closing for the Summer, makes sense too me, they're only really needed in the Winter when we tend to get more Severe Weather over a widespread part of the Country.

Ahh St Georges Hall. That is where the homecoming parade will end *if and it's still a big if Liverpool FC bring the Title home after 24 years. It will most certainly eclipse Istanbul homecoming in 2005 when over a million people lined the route. Will be something special to behold if it were to happen.
  9. Where any of you guys lucky enough to catch any Thunder/Lightning the other night? We had quite a bit coming in off the Irish sea up here along with some quite heavy rain.
  10. Thunder heard here in the Billinge/Wigan area just now.
  11. Temp gauge says 0C here but feels a lot colder than that. Heavy frost overnight.
  12. I have many friends on the South East thread Tamara including yourself (hopefully). I find your posts highly informative & useful.
  13. Excellent post Tamara & equally good photo's to boot. Can only hope this fine weather extends further north throughout next week & beyond.
  14. Hope you guys down there get some decent Temps over the next few days, still pretty chilly by day & especially night up here.
  15. I know Aintree very well, used to get dragged around the retail park every Sunday before visiting my Grandad.
  16. It's the highest hill in Merseyside at 178 metres above sea level.
  17. It's certainly noticeable. I'm on top of Billinge Hill though so might explain why I am more exposed & higher up.
