snowing on Portland, I was not expecting this?! Forecast to warm up later , how likely is this ?

Unfortunately were on a communal system and the whole estate is down. Nobody can gain access to the plant room, and the breakdown service is unavailable. So looks like we're cold until the thaw starts

worst conditions I've ever experienced on Portland. Everything is covered in a thick layer of ice, and it' the first time I've ever seen icicles here! No heating or hot water , I think I've had my snow fix now ?

Does anyone else get really wound up by Facebook posts saying it's not going to snow or is that it ? I'm like arghhh lol I'm praying Portland sees some heavy stuff later so I don' look like a total nutter!

Long time Portland lurker here and happy to report we have snow !! I do question my sanity sometimes, getting on 37 and I've had 3 hours sleep due to snow excitement ?

Being on Portland I can say this should be a red warning ! I'm right next to the beach and it's bloody scary out there

Worrying ! I'm right next to Chesil beach and it's taken a serious battering last week the beach is virtually flat one side if never seen it so low . The defences are mangled by the cove I dread to think what could happen with this coming storm as it coincides with a very high tide I think ?

That wave coming over Chesil well I live right opposite where it hit in Victoria square , never seen anything like it incredible !

I live at chiswell and I can tell you it's been one crazy night here ! I was out when the siren sounded as I'd been viewing the monster waves from a safe view point . They were the biggest waves I've ever seen easily 30 ft some larger . The beach road is closed and flooded a number of houses have also flooded . We are all being told to stay upstairs and basically hope for the best ! Quite an experience and one I will never forget , having to look up at waves because they were so high was crazy ! Walls of water x

It was actually fine as far as I know , I think they did close it for a few hours though when the winds were at there worst . My garden actually came off lightly too considering how bad it was down here . The cast iron chiminea went walkies though ! Impressive considering it takes two to lift it normally !!

Wow what a night here on Portland , resorted to sleeping downstairs with the kids at around 1.30 am . Living next to chesil was not pleasant last night !

Well it's pretty bad already here on Portland so I'm slightly worried about what's to come later !
