  7. Falling nicely now in Leicester. My newly installed back garden lamp-posts are fully operational. No more sitting upstairs alone in the spare room watching the street and worrying the wife. And, after 6 exciting weeks of solid model watching - I have had 1cm of lying snow for 4 nights, its snowing right now and more within the next 24 hours. G
  8. I remember this period too. I took this photo in Leicester on May 22nd 2005.
  9. The peculiar thing is that they admit uncertainty in the build up to the event. Why don't they just get the radar up on the screen like we do, and show people where the rain is falling on the day? Afterall they broadcast live every half hour and it would be "reality weather" rather than a vague graphic. Could get ratings too.
