    Area of ppn from North-west Wales is heading into our west coast now. Really is slow moving as well.

    I just noticed there is an area of ppn coming from NW Wales coast coming towards us on the radar. It seems the ppn maybe merging off our west coast??

    it was snowing lightly here 10 minutes ago when I put some rubbish into bin. I suppose its better than nothing.

    Amazing sunset here with red sky to our west. Fingers crossed for snow this weekend!!

    From now on the temps should keep dropping. By tomorrow night we could see the first widespread frost of the season. Next week first snow of the season?? But I reserve judgement on that for now.

    This time last week I had complications from the gallbladder removal. I had to rushed to the hospital in Preston again, that was last Monday. Last Thursday they did a precedure to remove the gallstone inside my body that was left behind. They released me last Friday. I am feeling much better now and definately on the mend. I am glad it wasn't an open surgery that took my gallbladder out.

    Just had a very tough few days, Saturday last week I had my gallbladder out. Then on Sunday night I was gasping with air and my family rushed me to the hospital for a few nights. Now I am home and feeling bit better now. So I've been through alot lately.

    The Met Office has put out a weather warning for today around my area. This weekend seems to be a cloudy one as the rain band not too far to the north, especially tommorow. Hopefully we'll get the first cold snap/spell by end of next week maybe?

    September is almost over, not long before we get the first cold snap/spell in the coming months.

    Weather warning has been put out for wind on Wed-Thur across our region.

    Today is a day of two halves here. Very wet and windy first half and now sunny skies and variable clouds today.

    Rain just cleared here now. Brief sigh of relief before further rain coming overnight/morning.

    It is steady rain past couple of hours here now. Probably not going to stop for another couple of hours. Today's weather is just remnants of Hurricane Lee.

    Heavy rain here now. Alot of standing water around here as well.

    That rain band appears to be faster than I thought on the radar. I thought it supposed to arrive here by midnight.

    So close to that Preston Cell but no thunder heard and lightning seen in Leyland. Hopefully it will come bit later.

    My birthday today I hope we get some lightning display for my Birthday.

    This Summer has been mostly wet and only seen 3-4 T-storms. I rate this season about 4 out of 10. Last year I would give it 8 out of 10. Why 8 out of 10 because it was duration of the heat. That is my rating of this Summer and last year's Summer.

    Wow!! I've just woken up by some thunder here. I didn't really expected that.

    First thunder of the day just been heard in Leyland. It basically just formed out of nowhere according to the radar.
