PPN practically covering almost all the Irish Sea right now, coming straight at us.

Sunday's low is gaining some interest on me. The ECM and GFS shifts the low further south each run. At this rate we may see transitional rain to snow event?? Cumbria getting pasted on the latest run.

Looking forward to a colder spell next week. I hope this time the Met Office will put out snow warnings across our region. Maybe either tomorrow or Sunday.

Just checked the Met Office app and it says it will stay windy/breezy, gusts upto 30mph+ till Xmas. Basically maybe a odd gusts upto 45mph until then.

There is a huge volcanic eruption in Iceland right now. I hope that would help bring colder weather in the new year as ash cool down our part of our world maybe.

The models are showing better chances for cold but I still stand by what I said earlier.

I have to say Cumbria gonna get some floods by the end of next week as wind and rain return due to rapid thaw. I hope it won't be that bad. -

That ppn over Wales and Midlands seems to be mostly rain, snow over hills. It is probably gonna melt all the snow in the Midlands and Wales low ground.
