I definately do not want a repeat of the hot Summer last year, it was lasted so long.  I don't mind a few days of hot weather, not weeks of it!!

Past few days/weeks has been rain/drizzle on and off. I hoping for the first 20C around Easter, if not it be in May before we see a 20C+ weather.

May is just over a month away as well. May is usually the time of year when the temps really gets going by the daily basis.

When I walked into Leyland earlier I was sweating little bit. Its got that muggy feel to it. Hopefully a T-storm will break out soon.

Met Office yet again have the eggs on their faces because the warning has been cancelled here

Warning for rain has been put out for Thursday. 40-70 mm expected quite widely and maybe over 100mm in the hills.

Light rain here but if evaporative cooling comes into play I reckon it will be wintry. If it comes to actual snow it won't stick anyway because the ground has warmed up.

For Monday-Tuesday's snow I expecting a weather warning put out tommorow probably for the hills.

For tommorow's evening it probably be a wintry mix here for 10 minutes before it turns to rain.

Why I said it was a Winter storm?  Because it has snow, sleet, strong winds overnight. The winds was really wild and kept wake me up last night. It really should be named, it has caused enough disruption anyway!!

The Winter storm just past away here and the sun is now out. Most of lowland snow will be thawed by noon time.  Maybe little left in the shaded spots though.

Snow starting again here. That makes third consecutive day of snowfall. It certainly does fills up our reservoirs after a period of dry weather since January. We certainly kind've need the snow/rain just in case another drought come Summer.
