I decided on Saturday night to get up super early (well early for me) and get myself down to the coast on Sunday morning, high tide and strong winds meant there was bound to be some mean waves .....
(sorry couldn't remember what the max size is for pics, if they are too big will happily reduce size)

Just over an inch fell here last night and what is great is the kids are at school so I can make the most of the virgin snow! Whoooohoooo
-
Snowing nicely here and has been for about an hour and half, about a cm so far, road covered too, didn't think we were gonna get too much.

Just got home from work after a long day on the road, had a quick perusal at the amount of pages posted in this thread today, a look at the NW extra radar and sferic plots for the day, and all I can say to members in the SE is DON'T EVER MOAN ABOUT NOT GETTING STORMS AGAIN!!!
I shall moan if I want to and there is nowt you can do about it
I thought I heard thunder a little while ago  and my lads girlfriend thought she saw lightning?! looks stormy but nowt showing on any radar.... and its started to rain.... again!

Sorry I think that's the end of our Spanish plume. I had exactly the same problem as you (stuck at work grrrrrr) Until the next heat wave...adios!

after an almighty storm this afternoon (which I didn't see any of because I have no windows near me at work) tonight it is still very humid and tis drizzly now. Still feels very thundery though, is there any chance of anything cropping up tonight?

Wind is picking up a bit here, temp dropped but not by much, I have my fingers crossed allbeit half heartedly.
-
Same here, did you get the rain and thunder this morning ?
I know we got the rain as the other half was up and down most of the night and he mentioned how heavy it was, but haven't heard any thunder might have snuck by whilst I was giving it large on the zzzzzzz's
Awww, chin up LoubyIt certainly looks more promising then yesterday. Estofex has a good forecast, even GFS seems to agree and the MO have mentioned the T word :o The rainfall radars are looking excellent this morning. Hmmm now, I think I need about 10 coffee's to keep me awake for the day lol.
I'll make you a latte or 5 to keep you going

not sure if anyone was watching Discovery yesterday, but they were showing Japan's Disaster Caught on camera, it is showing again this afternoon at 2pm.
It was genuinly heart wrenching, but give's you an idea what they went through, very much worth a watch.

Can see a massive storm of to the west well into the distance. Some one is getting an amazing show!! Looking at the radar the nearest storm is 80 miles away.... is it possible to see that from Easr Surrey?
