    NW6 postcode, had strong storms to my north, west and south last 3 days, still nothing more than distant thunder and night glimpses of flashes!!

    I actually feel robbed now, I spawned it and grew it in NW6 only for it to deliver 5 miles later!!

    Cloudburst conditions here, ut strangely no thunder and lightning. Proper silly heavy rain

    My nan lived in Queenborough, I remember some cracking storms during the summer when me and my sister would stay with her for a few weeks when we were kids (1980s) Also some amazing snowfalls in winter, you get the best of everything there thinking about it lol

    Its unbearable today, if storms cant happen in these conditions they will never happen. We should be seeing really severe storms!!

    Slightly too far away for me to even see distant flashes. Looks fierce on the NW radar That storm when up in 10 mins, theres so much energy tonight we all deserve a storm!!

    Must admit, with this much heat and the atmosphere obviously full of energy, Im suprised storms have not formed all over the S and E.

    So are these "surface based" storms like the storm warning said? Cant believe how a storm can go from nothing to full on in 20 minutes, its staggering!

    On the netW radar its got a couple of lightning X. But trust me there are 2-4 strikes a minute happening can hear deep loud booms. Thats a proper storm going on there!

    Storm over Southall 5 miles away exploded from nothing in 20 minutes!! Wow heard the distant thunder, amazing

    OMG this heat is disgusting. I walked a mile today and sweat was pouring off me, and the temp indoors is 29c now. Im feeling uncomfortably hot, my poor 84 yr old mum is really struggling. Need to be environmentally unfriendly and buy a couple of air con units this winter, cant do this again next year, and cant let my mum suffer this again. I hope and pray she gets through this.
