  1. Had cool thunderstorm here around 1pm- plenty of lightning and caught some of it on my camcorder. Rainfall total around 13mm (just over 0.5inches) so far today
  2. We had a shower which contained rain/sleet and a few flakes of wet snow at 9 am this morning at a temp of 4c. Sunny intervals since then, but clouding up now- perhaps more on the way?!
  3. Clear and sunny skies here. Temp 17c- very similar to yesterday. Brisk SW breeze, feeling a little fresh during the gusts, otherwise very pleasant
  4. Very lovely and spring-like earlier with a max temp in my garden of 16.7c around 12.30pm. Now turned overcast but still dry with a temp of 13.5c. I think the rain is nearly here.
  5. A had a moderate to heavy spell of snow this morning which gave a significant dusting to much area and turned my road completely white. Brst cover we've had yet. Sadly on my way into town it was turnign to sleet and is now intermittent light rain. Never mind, it was nice to see something
  6. Had a light dusting this morning from a short spell of heavy snow last night but mostly it was "icy grass" where the snow had melted while temp was still above freezing then frozen later. Saw a few flakes just now, but has been mostly just cold with sunny intervals today.
  7. just a few flakes falling now with the dusting that formed melting. Also I can report 2 hail showers during the day today and a more prolonged sleet/wet snow shower. Best was this evening but it looks like it is finished for me now.
  8. Had heavy snow here and gusty winds. Eased to light at the moment though. Lain on rooves but not on teh ground. Temp is near to freezing now so should lie everywhere soon
  9. A little bit of a sleet/drizzly snow here thsi morning but now turned dry and the sun is trying to come out. Ground quite damp from rain last night as well. Another disappointment here
  10. Sleet here this morning. Turned to occasional light rain now. Had a very light dusting from light snow showers yesterday evening but that had gone by this morning.
  11. Woke up to the fourth light dusting of the past week this morning and it was also snowing with some nice fat flakes at 7.45am. However, it was already starting to melt on teh roof so I went up my hill which is about about 20 mins walk from my house and 200 feet higher up and enjoyed a 5 min spell of moderate snow up there which added a little to the dusting. Back home I found it had turned to rain and sleet and was 2c when I got back at 9.30am. Right place at the right time :o
  12. A mixture of rain/sleet/wet snow for most of the day here then turned increasingly to snow late afternoon, heaviest around 7-7.30pm. Now clearing skies and temps close to freezing, ground is freezing and any snow now should lie
  13. I've 5 snow showers, two of them in the heavy category, 1 of those a blizzard which gave a temporary light dusting because most of it melted on contact with teh ground. Wow, another heavy shower to my NE, looks like a beast, make that 6 showers now....
  14. Heavy snow shower about to hit- I'm off outside!!!
  15. Just having a light snow flurry, first of today. Heavy one about to move in from NE Must be just developing now as nothing on 11pm radar
