Winter is far far from over. What we will see is a mild phase. By no means a complete pattern change to milder weather going forward. It's the 18th of January.. Noone can see clearly past 7 days( if that) in meteorology... Still game on as far as I concerned We had a cold snap in Dec, followed by a milder 12 to 14 days. Rinse and repeat I'd say.

Some people just like to see a nice bit of snow falling , even if it's just short lived. Doesn't have to be a full on dumping. People still like to look for even the slightest shower.
