Met Office forecast looking so tasty for my area too. Hoping things will pick up again soon.

Back home in Dungiven. Layer of snow here. Hasn't done a thing for the last half hour but it's not melting away either.

Im on a bus as I don't drive. My shift just finished at 9 there. At least I managed to get on the way before I was stranded!

Fairly coming down in Derry now. Starting to lie on footpaths and grass even though it's soaking.

Seeing some flakes in Derry now. Heading home shortly, can snow all it wants then!

Moderate hail shower here. Heading in the road towards Derry for work now. Hope there's snow when I clock out at 9pm!

Just rain with a few flakes here so far-doesn't qualify as sleet even. Snowing on the Glenshane though.

Some beefy looking pink showing on the radar now over Donegal and parts of the west. Hope everyone gets to see something over the next few days.

We had snow this morning around 9am but it was too wet to lie apart from on the grass and cars. The snow line is pretty low though looking at Benbradagh - maybe about 150m, less. It's just the very bottom that has no lying snow.

Nice to see that there's potentially some seasonable weather on the horizon. Gonna keep an eye over the next couple of days before getting too excited.

Justified here as well. Gusting to 60-65mph at the moment. Quite a few trees down as well.

Losung steam as it comes further north. In NW Ireland and just like every other winter storm. Or will it get worse? Not taking away from how severe it was elsewhere though. I'm by no means saying it's a non event! -
I think schools are closed tomorrow to assess any damages, electricity out etc. Getting windy here now but no more than most storms, so far at least.

Schools in NI advised to close tomorrow as well.

All translink services suspended from 5:30. Some even earlier. I just about to leave for work as well, nothing like last minute. Starting to kick off here now.

See if I go on in to work and they do that and leave me stranded I'll be livid.

Translink really need to make a decision. I'm due to leave for work during the peak. Kinda need to know what I'm doing but it'll be last minute by them as usual.

Exactly. I know it's a different system but I think maybe in this case modifying to be in line with the republic would be justified. Department of Education NI have said all schools should close tomorrow as a precaution - should close. Not they are, so far anyway.
