Snow is melting as soon as showers stop, going all slushy. It'll be a slidey walk home after dark for me from the bus! Starting to snow again now.

Nothing here since this morning, all those showers are passing to my north. All earlier snow has melted away. Sky is black and benbradagh has disappeared but its also still sunny lol so will see what happens now.

Temperature fluctuating between 3 and 4 degrees here, dew point 3 degrees.

I went out for my birthday last night and got home at 2am and rather than sink the bottle of vodka in the house I had a pint of water and went to bed. Times have changed Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow and Tuesday bring. Currently just 1 degrees here.

I hear of Storm Ali and I am back . Getting into my favourite time of year, weather wise. Helene wasn't up to much, bit windy last night and I got soaked coming from work!

I'm off to Madrid on Wednesday until Sunday and its about 38 degrees there now . I'm already off work, a day for the beach and a BBQ tomorrow at my mum's it is.

I can't be doing with this heat at night. Don't mind it during the day so much but I can't sleep and I'm awake at 7am for no reason . Local stations on Wunderground were floating about the 25/26 degrees mark, would well believe it.

It's a bit brisk this morning! Lol my phone showed minus 5 at 7am when my alarm went off. Wee bit of frost on cars and grass.

Orange level to be issued today and red later in the week according to Evelyn Cusack. Details of the emergency meeting after 8am. Friday is far from nailed on so still things to firm up yet.
