Wind has picked up here now. Just watched a Robin try and land on bird feeder after 3 attempts he gave up and picked up bits that having blown onto the ground.

I can relax a little bit now . Heard back from my girls the one in Exeter is staying indoors Uni told them to stay at home .the other one has been told to work from home she now lives in Portsmouth as for the boy in Cardiff still waiting to hear back so fingers crossed he doesn't have to go out in it .

I spent this afternoon making sure everything has been moved or put away. Especially my new bird feeder I have moved it to a corner where it will be safe hopefully. Not looking forward to the wind . Both my daughters are under amber warnings. My son is still getting over his excitement of watching the new Doctor Who being filmed at Cardiff University so he doesn't care what the weather will do . As you can tell by the picture their was a group of them hiding behind the bushes watching the filming .

Morning all hope everyone is well on this beautiful morning . The strangest thing just happened sat here enjoying a Birthday breakfast cooked by my other half when a bright flash lit up the living room we have no idea what it was . Feel slightly unnerved by it . Any ideas ?

The neighbours windmill is quiet for the minute I'm surprised considering how windy it is out there. Leaves starting to fall and some trees are starting to change colour . If I had an open fire I would light it tonight.
