    There's actually some snowflakes mixed in this heavy sleet here in Cardiff at the moment. I'm right in the middle of town and can definitely see some flakes mixed in. Local weather stations reporting around 4C, so a bit mild for proper snow but at least there is some wintriness in these showers.

    I'm back in Cardiff today and it's absolutely terrible. Torrential rain once again. I wouldn't be surprise if we saw more flooding during today. I'll keep you posted.

    More heavy rain here in north west Wales again today. Had a lovely drive around Snowdonia yesterday with a few scattered wintry showers. The views as always were breathtaking

    Absolutely chucking it down here in Deiniolen (north west Wales). Quite a lot of rain to fall in the next 24 hours, it’ll be interesting to see how the area will cope with more rain. Winds picking up too. Local temperature: 6C IMG_5082.MOV

    Just driven through Wales - up the A470. The weather was pretty bad but worse here in north west Wales (northern Snowdonia). Here’s a clip of the wind here in a village called Deiniolen. No major flooding at the moment but it wouldn’t surprise me if we hear reports later. IMG_4825.MP4

    Nice one Andy, I’m from Deiniolen (but live in Cardiff now). Both Deiniolen & Dinorwig get their fair share of extreme weather - looking forward to your weather reports!

    Thunder and lightning to the south of Cardiff. Bright flashes and some deep rumbles of thunder. Nice surprise!

    It was snowing in my village, Deiniolen (220m asl) this morning, snow has settled above 800m.

    Schools in Gwynedd also closing. Sunny but breezy on Cardiff...

    Thunderstorm reported in North Wales Wales. Blitzortung has got a few lightning strikes up there. Gosh, it's been dire down here in Cardiff this year...

    I can see flashing in the west from Cardiff. Just had a shower overhead but no lightning.
