  1. How can one calculate what the temperature would be Mid/Late July in this airflow?

      There is no calculation specifically it would have been low 30s 30-33C most probably.

      One of the things we do at the start of our shifts everyday is calculate the likely maximum temperature using the 850-1000 thickness, adjusted for the time of year, strength of wind and how much cloud cover there will likely be. 

      Since there was next to no cloud, a Cloud Class 0 would be appropriate and using the Callen and Prescott's method  would suggest that in June or July you could probably add an extra 3.5-4.0C to the values achieved yesterday.
