  1. 17c max temp for London is forecast this saturday...itl probably change but not far off 64f
  2. even though its been a stop start well mostly stop summer here in the land of sheep,im hoping the good old british weather will perk up for the school hols..because one things for sure itl be majorca next year B) ..Sunlover your INSTALLING SUMMER part at the bottom of your post made me  thats quality hats off to you QUALITY.....
  3. JH...try your post 897 for the options you gave..
  4. Evening JH...an excellent read and very easy to understand, thanks for your effort
  5. yep GFS is showing some great charts but as per norm too far out,but dont they look great mate...that would be excellent timing for the kids when they break up,my son whos 4 hasnt even had a half decent summer since hes been born...bring it on before it all goes pete tong lets hope the ECM tags along with GFS,but having read the MO update cant see that happening but you never know
  6. Im sure the ECM was showing a potent storm for tues june 28 a few days ago..tbh the models are all along the same sort of lines...rubbish beyond 24hrs,bar the METO who only show a few days...no wonder
  7. The way the models are chopping and changing who knows what itl be like after the weekend the Meto update yesterday was for pretty unsettled weather to continue that said you cant even rely on them looking at back at some of the predictions they make...all i can say is enjoy the warmup if we get it and the sunshine...depending where you live and if it turns up at all...so in summery the charts are about as useful as a chocolate teapot....no wonder the ITV national weather only go to one day the majority of the time
  8. looking at the latest sypnotics, maybe a little later than expected but i am noticing what you have described starting to unfold, regarding pressure to drop west of greenland/ and high pressure out to our east introducing a southerly/south easterly flow
  9. Gotta say i agree with you and i admit to being one of many whos expectations are so high and as you rightly say just look at where we are on the map...i put it down to after a long and at times bitter winter i feel we are entitled to a decent summer...so to sum it up a typical brit(and going back straight away on what i wrote to start with..lol) however i remain convinced that july will pick up and i will remain convinced in september
  10. From what i can recall weather chocolate teapot onlines forecast during april was for the month ahead "dry" dry! dry!...and the minute it went wet they went all marti pellow
  11. well at least your remaining positive mate
  12. An excellent post...hats off to you, also Glacier Point's predictions/interpretations. Around the same time as Glacier Point was predicting a pretty good june the met office from what i can recall were in tandom with Glacier Points predictions analysis of above average temps/below average rainfall in their extended outlook a few weeks back...lets just hope the jet drives well to our north soon...although on current output it dosent look like happening ( bar a couple of days ) and thats not nailed on cause its too far out tbh
