  1. matty40s March last year we stopped off in Slidell on way to bay Saint Louis and had lunch there in a diner on that road…
  2. Had Worse torrential rain and hail… back door mat floating ️️️️️ close Lightning ️ and loud thunder earlier… shotgun thunder when I got up this morning too… so much hail today and cold in gusty winds…

Got to 17.8c here yesterday… sun made an appearance briefly… managed five hours gardening and dried washing outside… luckily got it in before drizzle fest yesterday evening… quickly popping to shops then slow roasting leg of lamb (from farm up the road) that’s been marinated in tandoori rub… family driving up from Luton for weekend and football tomorrow ️️️️
  4. 6c rain not here yet… but knocking on the door… squirrels going crazy chasing each other in garden and jumping between pine trees… plus back door mat growing grass…
  5. 17.8c feels very humid/warm out…Fohn effect… despite the breeze… sun trying to make an appearance… amazing de Bruyne goal ️️️️ come on Oscar Bob Bob Bob ️️️️
  6. 15.6c max today… some blustery showers but some sun felt warm in sunshine been for good long walk… steak for tea bought our decorator/bathroom fitter a tomahawk to say thank you for hard graft over last seven weeks… dining room ceiling repainted now woohoo this weekends job… putting the dining room back together… live in hope for drier warmer sunnier spell sometime soon Happy Friday everyone

Rather warm humid feeling day after overnight rain/showers… car registered 17c in Ashton-Under-Lyne in the sun at lunchtime… think it was more likely 14-15c max today… just making fish n chips for my tea… hubby making seafood and spinach curry with jalfrezi sauce we made last week… rain just started and hills shrouded in cloud now… had long tailed tits two days in a row getting bugs out of window frames outside…

Had Worse yep wet wet wet… digging yesterday in garden such wet soil… hopefully some gardening today if it stays dry… after usual garage bar stool haircuts and now have our main bathroom finished and useable woohoo and it’s water tight Good result last night… great match (esp foden, Rodri, grealish and gvardiol ️️️️) and buzzing atmosphere… go again Saturday ️️️️ *Stormforce~beka* hope you are feeling better and have good journey home
  9. *Stormforce~beka* hope you are feeling better today managed a walk to town this morning without getting too wet but did hammer it down whilst at garden centre… back home on and off downpours or heavy drizzle… managed to plant a couple of plants in raised bed but the soil was sooo sodden… even the grass has a nice new mossy coating hoping the wind at weekend isn’t too bad, as the past couple of years our acers have been torn to shreds

  11. 10c can actually feel the warmth in the sun bit of a hangover but great night in Manchesterford… off to football at 230pm ️️️️ Garden looking good great owl pics our local owls (4/5 of them) are quite vocal in the evenings atm
  12. Blue skies sunny can feel the warmth of the sun out of the breeze… bacon butties then potting on some baskets Then this afternoon catching train to Manchesterford… popping to a few shops then china town for a friends birthday celebrating with teppanyaki… Enjoy whatever you’re upto peeps

Lovely walk to feed ducks in Manor Park this morning… quick wonder around town… Lidl & M&S chaos… was like nothings going to open until Tuesday (like the Isle of Man did in the 90s ) Three crashes today on Woodhead… lots of sirens going passed here lunchtime… … Happy Easter weather looks good all weekend now

  15. torrential rain being blown sideways… luckily got back 45 minutes ago from errands in Denton & Stockport left 1130am… was lovely sunny morning but breezy and chill in wind…
  16. Was 7c when I got up… end of rain was 5c at 1230… now 6.6c… chilly compared to yesterday’s 14.5c… cup of tomato soup… making cauliflower cheese to go with scotch eggs Paddy is making… attempting scotch eggs in air fryer
  17. 14.5c in bright/sunny periods but more generally overcast this afternoon… great for having the patios jet washed as well as carpets indoors cleaned… felt like spring again… esp with acers coming out and blossom in the sun rather than rain…

Had Worse we’ve just cut a chicken in half and cooked it in the air fryer… I’m yet to be convinced but not really used to using one… to be fair crispy skin and juicy chicken… you got home ok after all the crazy road chaos whichever way you went this afternoon couldn’t get in or out of Glossop… traffic ludicrous
  19. Bright sunny Sunday chilly but blue skies enticing us to go for a walk when we get our act together hubby bouncing off the walls excited to do roast chicken in our first ever air fryer

A Face like Thunder yes lovely Saltburn… the tram station at the bottom had a fire in January apparently… but wasn’t meant to open until April… not sure when it will open though… yes Seaview was where we were for tea… the restaurant and takeaway part was busy this evening… lovely area… only been out of season… October in 2019 and this time… in summer I can see it being rammed… especially with being so dog friendly

Scuba steve indeedlydoodly… why we wanted a change of pace, place and mostly weather for four days… bus to Staithes today and went to Whitby on bus on Tuesday… really lovely relaxing change of scenery… last evening in Saltburn at the sea view seafood restaurant with their signature crab brioche
  23. Sun back out 15c lovely jubbly lamb shoulder roasted now to make pot of Irish stew
  24. Lovely sunny morning yesterday heavy rain second half of game yesterday and drive back home ️ ️ ️ Sunny warm in sunshine this morning… clouded up a bit… useable weather… just been for quick jaunt into town… making Irish stew and a Guinness to go with… Happy st Paddy’s Day
  25. Mild damp day precipitation mainly in the drizzle category… day for spring cleaning… cleared out three large cupboards and office resulting in car filled to brim for tip run tomorrow… hopefully drier weekend and next week
