  1. Paul yep. It didn't even pick up the bunch of strikes over north Wales.
  2. In my opinion it is missing a lot compared to other sites I have looked at. It might be new and need tweaking, but the old system was far more reliable.
  3. There still seems to be a lack of sferics. There was quite a cluster of strikes to the SW of Portland, but nothing on NW radar or lightning map.
  4. Had a gust of 46mph as that front moved past. Wind speed got to 20mph as well. That wasn't in the forecast.
  5. Had a lovely day here. Low humidity, lots of sunshine, temp over 14°C. Got the lawn cut, twice. Need to weed & feed in a week or so, then de-thatch, overseed, and top dress. Hopefully a bowling green by the Summer?!
  6. NEVES SCREAMER Yep. February and June were the only below average months. Here's a heatmap of my rain rate data throughout last year. You can see February and June quite nicely Another stat from my data; In the last 9 months, only January has had above average sunshine hours.
  7. Just been tallying up my rainfall since September 1st - 1066mm
  8. I've been getting a lot of notifications of coronal holes, flares etc. Not sure I remember my app being this busy!
  9. Tomorrow is looking much more promising. Hopefully I can get a lawn cut done, as it looks awful now it's growing so quickly. Just had a quick look.. Breezy, but low humidity with some good sunny spells. That should help dry out the grass and the washing.
  10. I don't know why some members bother posting on a weather forum at all?! They seem to sit in this thread waiting for a chance to be combative. It's gone beyond moaning or ramping for a select few.
  11. I see two strikes on the radar now. Not sure I would call it fantastic considering how many there have been across the south today.
  12. No lightning at all on the radar or lightning maps?!
  13. No showers at all this morning. Grass was the driest it has been for months, so I get the strimmer out and wind some new cable on it, then it starts hailing/raining and a rumble of thunder. That's that until it fully dries out! Doodle joined me in the porch.
  14. Sunny spells and light air helped the temp climb to 17.3°C here, making it the warmest day of the year so far.
  15. I've just noted that I'm already over the 400mm mark for yearly rainfall.
  16. Paul This whole area has been affected for quite some time It started at around 6pm, and more & more disappeared
  17. I'm guessing there's a big radar outage?
  18. I have Reed's and Freddy McKinney's streams open together. Awesome rotation before the tornado touched down.
  19. Ian Ballinger No, but it also depends on what you whether you want detailed access to your data? The new console/screen doesn't have an API, so data cannot be retrieved directly from it. You can get data from weatherlink.com using software, but only at 15 minute intervals unless you have a paid subscription. If you have a WeatherLink live hub, you can access the real-time data from it using software, such as Cumulus MX or WeatherDisplay. I have both, but my console is just purely for decoration. My WeatherLink live does all the work of uploading and saving data, as well as being connected to Cumulus Mx.
