  1. Personally, I don't think any month is easy. But, I do like to put my guess in 10 or 11 days early.
  2. Phew! I needed a few points to get me back up the board a bit, as some of my previous months were way off of the mark.
  3. There's some weird cloud formations going on here. It reminds me of an impending storm in the Summer...... that is about to miss me.
  4. Gorgeous today, and feeling warm. Temp: 15.7°C - Hum: 64% - Dew: 8.9°C - Bar: 1019.61hPa - Wind: E ~ ENE @ 5mph.
  5. Despite having just a light shower today, the timelapse looked pretty good! https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  6. Heard nowt here. Just had a 0.2mm from a small shower, that's been it. Very disappointing in terms of rainfall. In fact, if you go back to Frday & Saturday's forecast, you could easily have written of Sunday and Monday, when they actually turned out to be pretty good, especially today. I'm rather surprised at the lack of shower activity that is spiraling around the LP, its very sparse.
  7. Nice view of a shower appearing on my cam. I'm not sure we'll get anything spectacular though.
  8. Something heavy heading my way, as can be seen on my cam. No electrical activity in it though.
  9. 7mm fell yesterday, and a further 1.4mm since midnight. There's some decent convection going on today, with some dark bases on clouds out to the East - hoping for something later on. Temp: 13.9°C - Hum: 69% - Dew: 8.3°C - Bar: 1002.81hPa - Wind: E ~ SSE @ 8mph.
  10. When we had that burst of heavier rain earlier, the forecast showed no rain for here. Now its showing heavy rain from now until 2am, yet the radar clearly shows quite a large dry area. Yesterday and today's forecasts have been absolute calamities of the highest kind.
  11. It's raining quite heavy now. I have the windows wide open, as there's not a breath of wind. It's nice to hear it beating down on the shed roofs.
  12. Look at the Netweather rainfall total charts: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=8134;sess= lol - I don't think so!
  13. That next batch of rain is slowly losing its intensity. An utterly terrible forecast once again - washout has been non-existent.
  14. So, just 1hr 20mins of rain, and it has been dry since. It looks to stay dry for the remainder of the afternoon. Certainly not what was forecast.
  15. Had a light shower about an hour ago, now it's just fine, light drizzle. It's ironic that the last day of the month brings in heavy rain, otherwise it would have been the driest month I had recorded on this station. Temp: 11.9°C - Hum: 79% - Dew: 8.4°C - Bar: 988.44hPa - Wind: SE ~ ESE @ 8mph.
  16. Hi lettice I use an IP camera, then use IPTimelapse software (paid) to connect to the camera. It has tons of settings and features, such as adding your wunderground weather to the overlay. I just set it to capture an image every 15 seconds between 00:00 and 11:59, it then creates the video for it at midnight, and automatically uploads it to my site. It took a while for the sun to make an appearance here today, but now it has, it pushed the temp to 15.5°C Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 59% - Dew: 6.6°C - Bar: 1011.32hPa - Wind: SSE @ 10mph. If anybody accesses my site, either give your cookies a clear, or CTRL +F5 to bypass your cache. I updated the colours and font today, due to some a-hole copying everything from my site, to his.
  17. Timelapse came out well today, especially 3pm > https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/timelapse.htm
  18. Well, another day of missing every shower, despite showers covering almost every square inch of the country. On the upside, i'm only two dry days away from a record of the most dry days in a month, hopefully beating July 2016.
  19. Plenty of convection going on here, trust me. It might not be rampant, but it's going on! lol A shower has cropped up to the West of me:
  20. That's why I said maybe later. In these sorts of set ups, it is usually late afternoon/early evening that something either crops up close by, or makes its way here. 850hPa winds show a slight steering from NE to SW. View from my webcam:
  21. There's been some nice clouds about again, but no showers. This unsettled spell is turning out to be quite settled here - until maybe later.
