Reading these recent forecasts it's so confusing. Seems everyone is struggling to nail down what's happening because it's been so erratic of late. It's going to rain but also it might not, it will be warm but also chilly, it may snow but also will be like the Sahara. -
Well hasn't it been a crazy week of weather! I think it's made it's point, let's have something more settled and warm now

Getting married at the end of the month so have started watching the long range forecasts like a hawk. BBC seems to be more optimistic towards settled drier weather, whereas Met and Netweather seem to be less certain. -
Torrential rain for a good half hour here, now stopped. Haven't seen rain like that in ages. Felt quite convective!

Unexpectedly snowing here but far too wet for it to settle.

Rapid thaw here now. Will be surprised if there's anything left by the afternoon.

What a beautiful morning it was. Very spring like, but now very chilly and had to pop the heating on.

Definitely feeling more springlike of late. Whilst still nippy, the ice cold chill seems to have left the air.

Going to venture out into the garden today and start the process of waking it up after putting everything away and covering up back in November. I always look forward to this day as it reminds me spring is not far away.

Interesting about the potential snow. I think as it doesn't look like it's going to be an event more significant than the last people will probably get less excited about it.

I know it's winter but would be lovely to have a break from this relentless wind and rain and gave some of those lovely days where it's dry, cold but you can feel the sun on your face.

Haven't seen rain like that for a long time here. Had to run from the car into my house and was absolutely soaked through in seconds!

I'm hoping this rain melts the snow as safely as possible. Last thing anyone needs is an ice skating rink to drive on.

To be honest I'm looking forward to it warming up a bit. The snow needs to go now as all were left with is ice and that's dangerous for everyone.
