I'll believe it when I see it in terms of the T storm warning.

My Lightning app has detected strikes in nw Kent. Are these genuine?
I've not seen or heard anything but that doesn't mean there hasn't been something.

What do you have to do around here to get a storm to break the humidity?!? I feel like my area has got to have been one of the most unlucky for not having the heat end with storms!

Very abroad vibes out there.

That was crazy! I haven't seen rain like that in years. Everywhere flooded in minutes. Driving up the hill to my house was like driving through a waterfall!

That was absolutely insane! I haven't seen rain like that for years. Everywhere flooded in minutes. Driving up the hill was like driving up a waterfall. All my car sensors were failing!

Had a short sharp shower earlier with a rumble.
It's been such a poor year for storms where I am

Distant rumbles....

Disgustingly humid again. I remain skeptical about the chances tomorrow but a bit of rain will be nice to clear the air.

The fact that intense Brighton mess hasn’t sparked leads me to conclude the opportunity is over for my neck of the woods could change but highly doubtful.
The appalling 2023 continues for me.
Been really horrendous for storm action our neck of the woods, hasn't it!

It's gone unbearably humid here. Hope we get something to show for it.

As usual with storms I'll believe it when I see it. Loving storms is a cruel mistress, so much temptation but so often not producing.

Has been a glorious hot day all day and suddenly come over very stormy.

Felt much more like summer today. A glorious day. Back to eating dinner outside while I still can.

Just had a flash and a rumble here, as I'm sure Lauren will also post lol
Yep, I'm not sure it will be much more that that though.

Think I'm a teeny tiny bit too south to get anything if it kicks off.

Absolutely chucking it down here but think it will be very short lived.

Has been as windy here as I thought it would be, had a couple of bigger gusts but otherwise just a breezy day.

Yes, some decent rain over the last couple of hours. It'll be interesting to check actuals tomorrow, but I suspect the Arpege rainfall forecast I posted could be a bust.
It sounds glorious! Don't get me wrong, I love a long, hot summer but we do need a good bit of rain. If only some storms came out if it *sigh*.

Absolutely chucking it down here.

Am I the only person living in the SE/London area sick to death of putting up with weeks of heat and humidity and getting zero in storms (or what I call a reward) for putting up with this shiet heat?
I'm the same, aside from a very brief overhead thing a few weeks back, we've had nothing.

Just hoping something develops at some point tonight but not hopeful

Nice to have a cooler day today. I always feel conflicted at this time of year because I love Summer and I'm not ready to let it go, but I love the coziness and colour of Autumn, but I know that invariably leads to Winter which I hate!
